Ana Morales

She began her dance studies at the Barcelona Conservatory. When she was 16 years old, she recievedthe scholarship from the Compañía Andaluza de Danza (directed and coordinated by José Antonio Ruiz) and moved to Sevilla for three where she continues her flamenco training. She takes classes with the teachers, such as Rafael Campallo, A. Granados, Juana Amaya, Eva la Hierbabuena. Isabel Bayón, Andrés Marín, etc ...

She debuted professionally in the theatre "La Maestranza", in the Biennial of the Year (2000), in the show "Puntales" under the direction of Antonio "El Pipa". The following year, she joined the Andalusian Dance Company and during four years she toured different national and international theatres and festivals with the following shows: Encuentros (choreographed by Eva la Hierbabuena, Alejandro Granados and Rafael Campallo), Picasso Paisajes (José Antonio Ruiz), Things of Payos (Javier Latorre), The Legend (José Antonio Ruiz) and Blood Wedding (Antonio Gades).

In the (2004) the project tribute to Dalí was launched, directed by José Antonio Ruiz and produced by the Junta de Andalucía and various national festivals. As part of this, she works at the Peralada Festival, Santander Festival and San Sebastian Festival. In November of the same year she travelled to Japan teaching dance classes and working in several local theatres.  She wins the first prize for "Free dance" por Malagueñas in the National Flamenco Dance Contest of La Perla de Cádiz.

She collaborated in 2005 as a dancer in the movie "Iberia" by Carlos Saura, and "Why Do They Rub Their Feet?” by Álvaro Bejines. She works as part of the Cía de Javier Latorre in the show "Triana, in the name of the rose", for the Festival de Jerez (Cádiz) and as part of the Cía de Andrés Marín in "Asimetrías" performing at the national and international festivals such as "Albuquerque" or London.

In 2007 Javier Barón has her as a soloist for "Meridiana".

In 2008 she forms part of the flamenco show "Khalo Caló", premiered at the Villamarta Theater in Jerez de la Frontera and inspired by the life and work of the universal Mexican painter and the show directed by Juan Dolores Caballero "El Chino", " Tiempo Pasado ", premiered at the Seville Biennial.

In 2010 her first own production is released: "From Sandalia to Tacón", in the Sala Compañía, within the program of the Flamenco Festival of Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), reaping unbeatable reviews. She travels to the XII International Theatre Festival of Bogotá, where she works two days at the Jorge Tadeo University Theatre.

Colombia hosts the show of Ana Morales with full house. "From Sandalia to Tacón" is scheduled in Seville during the XVI Flamenco Biennial.  Specialized critics record the good work, the art and the future of dancer Ana Morales.

In the XLIX Edition of the prestigious International Festival of Cante de las Minas de la Unión, Ana Morales gets the much-dreamed dance prize: "El Desplante". The XVII edition of the Flamenco Biennial of Seville does not want to do without the presence of this dancer and this time with a premiere "reciclARTE": a living, open work, in constant development, of individual artistic needs and forced social awareness , told in flamenco and whose predetermined ending is the creative infinity.

Currently she combines the representations of her work with the position of solo dancer in the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía under the direction of Rafaela Carrasco.

07 2022 На прошедшем конкурсе «Золотая Кентаврита» 2021 зажглось сразу несколько новых ярких звезд!

Кира Никитина и Ирина Тарасова с невероятной гуахирой одержали победу в номинации «Лучшее исполнение хореографии». Молодые танцовщицы из Санкт-Петербурга, которым пророчат очень большое будущее. В номинации «Лучшее музыкальное исполнение» победил талантливый гитарист Константин Ушаков, за полгода до этого выигравший главный приз на Первом конкурсе им. Диего дель Гастора.

23 2022 Открыта подача заявок на Конкурс «Золотая Кентаврита — 2022»

Оргкомитет фестиваля «¡Viva España!» открывает регистрацию на конкурс исполнителей фламенко, который по традиции состоится в Доме фламенко «Фламенкерия». Ознакомится с "Положением" и подать Заявку можно с 23 сентября по 5 ноября. Список финалистов будет опубликован не позднее 13 ноября.
